Supplying your own Artwork
Screeprinting, engraving & acid etching process require complete artwork and in the correct format for each process.Any incomplete artwork may require re-quotation and extra charges may be applied.
We accept the following file types:
PDF files (set your output to high quality or press quality)
TIFF files .
EPS files (encapsulated post-script).
CDR files (Corel draw files).
Resolution
All artwork must be provided at 300 dpi at 100% size. Images should be imported into your artwork at this resolution (or greater). It is assumed all images and text supplied to us have the relevant copyright permission granted.
Colour Mode
It is preferred that all artwork be in CMYK format, and all artwork for screen printing, engraving and acid etching be converted to solid black.
PMS Colour matching
Although we endevour to match PMS colour exactly. Due to material and process tolerances, PMS colours may not be exactly matched.
Fonts
All text and images which contained fonts must be outlined, or have the fonts embedded.
Bleeds
All digital printing orders must have a minimum of 3mm bleed all around over final edge, with crop marks.
Quotation "layout sketch"
Unless the designer has had experince providing artwork for screenprinting or acid etching it is strongly advised that a "layout sketch" indicating colours and bleed be submitted first (at the time of quotation) in order to quote accurately, but also to double check any artwork issues which may arise
Artwork can be delivered in the following formats:
1. E-mail (up to 15meg)
2. Attached in the REQUEST QUOTE page (up to 15meg)
2. CD / DVD
3. USB Flash Drives
4. Post your camera ready film
